A CALLA LILY IN OUR GARDEN - Lewis Sommer

STRUCTURE. A 3x3 grid that reads top to bottom as a narrative: profile, furl, heart. Row one is the lily as the world sees it - elegant, composed, public. Row two is the twist, the flower mid-gesture, spadix tucked. Row three is the intimacy: the camera turned down the throat of the bloom, letting us inside. That descent from portrait to secret is the whole design, and it works.

COLOR. A single bloom carrying the entire flame - crimson lip melting to orange, gold, then green at the stem - the gradient doing the talking against a signature dead-black ground. The petal veins are the quiet miracle here: fine as thread, glowing, proof of the light placed behind these.

STANDOUT. Bottom-center. The spiral into the heart with the spadix at its core - the frame with a pulse.
